Archive for February, 2009

I had a great time with a close friend of mine taking our girls to the pond to feed the ducks and play at the park. Here is a snippet of our fun day! Thanks for following our blog…

Amy

This is me…Hi.

February 25, 2009

I noticed that I had pictures of Amy and Ella on the blog but none of yours truly. Not that you really want to see a picture of me, but I thought I would post one for good measure(haven’t heard anyone say that since 1940).

This was taken at an Indian Restaurant in Bloomington Indiana last summer. The place is actually owned by the family of the Dalai Lama(the whole place reminded me of the moive The Darjeeling Limited), and since I have this incessant urge to always take a picture when there are mirrors involved this is what happened.

Hello.

I hope today finds you well.

Brian

Love Wins.

February 24, 2009

This is my guitar. I’ve had it for a little over 10 years now. It’s not the prettiest thing, but we have been through quite a bit together. And through every journey, I have found this little saying always rings true. Love Wins. Simple. Yet profoundly complex. Hope today find you well friends.

Brian

p.s. Amy and I are resting up, starting February we have at least one wedding a month until October! WOOHOO!! So if you are getting married this year(or know someone) and want us to bring the awesomness, give us a ring!

She is growing to fast…

February 23, 2009

It just seemed like yesterday that my wife and I found out she was pregnant. It is said so often, but I can’t believe how fast time goes by. Ella always has something interesting to talk about and never lets the house have a dull moment. She is the funniest 2.5 year old I have ever met and keeps us laughing all the time.

Here are just a few we took last sunday before church. She is becoming such a beautiful girl.

Lydia and Mike have been good friends and we were so glad to hear that they are pregnant! It was still snowy when we took the photos but the weather wasn’t to bad. Only in Indiana will you see people out on motorcycles, short sleeves and shorts on the first 40 degree day since winter! Anyway, the sun was shining and we found a nice little spot just off the road to take most of these pictures.

Getting Published!

February 11, 2009

If you remember I had a post a few months ago (probably longer than that) about my good friend who was writing a story for Road Runner (national motorcyle magazine). I went along and took pictures of the journey and we submitted the story to the magazine. Well, after review they decided to publish it!

It will be in the May/June issue of Road Runner magazine. Probably not the biggest deal, but hey, I’m stoked that I”ll see my pictures somewhere other than my computer screen.

Hope all is well with you.

Brian
