The Lazzara Family

September 26, 2009

Zionsville wasn’t ready for the awesomeness that hit them when I met up with the Lazarra Family.  Allison is a hair dresser at the Sola Salon Studios up in Fishers where Amy get her hair done, and after she found out that we were photographers, she and her family decided to do a photo shoot.  The light was just beautiful in Zionsville and we utilized everything we could, from construction signs to an old Triumph motorcycle.  enjoy.

Free Parent Album Special!

September 21, 2009

Hello all!

Amy and I are always trying to think of ways to make your experience with Rogue Art Photography smooth, enjoyable and most of all fun!  So…for the rest of September and all of October, we are giving away a Free 5×5 Parent Album with any wedding that is booked.

Now is definitely the time to start looking into your photographer if you are having a wedding next year.  And what a great way to say “thank you” to your parents by giving them their own professionally designed album of your special day.  These are hard cover books with magazine style pages that will mirror the album that you have.  We’ve had a great response with them so far, so we thought we would pass the love on to you!

Call or e-mail if you would like to set up an appointment or if you have any questions at all.  Hope to talk to you soon!

Brian & Audrey Wedding

September 20, 2009

Indianapolis:  Brian and Audrey got married at College Park Church (where we go to church!) on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.  Everybody was so laid back and they decided to see each other before so we were able to take our time and get some really great pictures out behind the church.  There is just a beautiful field right behind the church and I absolutely love large open spaces.
After the ceremony the bridal party and the parents all had their own vintage car to take to the ceremony!  It had to have been one of our most unique (and cool!) exits we have seen so far.  The cars were in amazing condition and it was really neat to see a line of 7 vintage cars driving down the highway with Brian and Audrey leading the way.  It was such a personal and intimate wedding.  One that when you leave you really feel like you know the family and friends.  We wish you the best and on to the pictures!

The Girls

September 15, 2009

It seems like these last few weeks/months have flown by.  I can’t believe that we are already half way through September!  Amy and I have just felt so blessed lately with the addition of Harper Augustana to our family.  She is such a good baby and Ella is a great big sister.  She is already feeding her bottles and wanting to hold her all the time.  Last night we were watching a movie and Ella was holding Harper and they were both sitting just looking at each other. Quite. Content. It was beautiful.

Ella also started preschool which we are really excited about.  She is doing so good and absolutely loves it.  Amy and I are so thankful that God has blessed us so much with our family.  We never want to take for granted their little smiles, cries, laughs, and looks.  Children has an uncanny ability to see things and live life to the fullest extent.  At times (most times) I think they have a better grasp on living than we do.

Ella has been my inspiration to pick up the camera, and she continues to be that.  Taking pictures of the girls is one of the most rewarding things we do.  Capturing small moments of their story is just beautiful.

Welcome to the New Blog!

September 12, 2009

We are so excited to finally have a new and updated blog!  Feel free to look around.  All the posts that were on the old blog are still here plus we have some extra stuff here and there.  So like I said on the old blog, we will have the previous blog around for a few more weeks but then we’ll get rid of it to reduce the confusion of two Rogue Art Photography Blogs.

Thanks again for all your support!

Josh + Katie Wedding

September 6, 2009

We are so sorry that we have been a little late when it comes to blog posting. With the addition of another little baby to our family it has been absolutely amazing, but crazy busy. Thank you all for your thoughts and being understanding. Harper is doing amazing and so is Amy. Everyone is healthy and sleep deprived!! Anyway, on to the wedding.

Josh and Katie had such an amazing wedding day. They had a beautiful wedding ceremony and their reception was at the Rathskeller downtown. Amy and I absolutely love to shoot downtown so we definitely had a great time. We (amy and I) had never been to the Rathskeller (I know, we need to get out more!) so we were very excited to take pictures and hang out there. It’s a beautiful location and one we’ll be going back to. Their family and friends were so fun to hang out with and you could tell there was so much love being shared between everyone. Now, the photo love….
