Here are just a few images from our last wedding. Enjoy!

Amy and I were so excited to post this photo shoot! We have had to postpone the shoot because of rain it seemed like 2 or 3 times, but finally the clouds cleared and we were able to go downtown and hang out. As we were walking around discussing some details of their wedding day, Ashley mentioned that she wanted to have an vintage fair feel to her wedding. We walk around a corner and there, in a parking lot, is a small fair with hardly anyone riding the rides or playing the games! We were so stoked. Once we stepped in there with cameras, umbrellas, flashes, and a couple kissing, we had everyone’s attention. All the employees there were sooo nice. We ended up getting a free Ferris Wheel ride and pretty much free reign of the whole place. It was something I”ll never forget. Then we headed to an abandoned corner of fountain square with the couch to finish up the shoot. Nick and Ashley we so awesome the whole shoot and we seriously can’t wait for their wedding day!

Get Pictures. Give Hope.
The world is so much bigger than ourselves. We as American’s are so blessed. Yet just an ocean away, there are families that don’t even have some of the basic needs we take for granted everyday, namely water. This isn’t a guilt trip, this isn’t another call out for you to give us money. This is just us, doing something bigger than ourselves and inviting you to be a part of it.
Blood: Water Mission is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing clean water to some of the poorest regions of Africa, by building wells. It isn’t uncommon for mothers to have to walk miles just to have access to water we wouldn’t put our feet into, and they use it as drinking water. Amy and I couldn’t be more excited to parter with this organization to help provide this basic need to the poorest parts of Africa.
So here’s the deal. When you book a wedding with us, we’ll give a portion of your money to help build a well for people who are truly in need. That’s it. You get pictures, and together we can give hope. Simple.
Please go to Blood:Water Mission to learn more.
Thank you.

I’ve know Caroline (Maia’s mom) since as long as I can remember. It was really good to hang out again and meet her beautiful family. Thankfully the light showed up and we were able to get some great sunset shots.

They know how to rock a carousel…

Much more to come….
Jamestown IN: First of all, this shoot was soo fun! This was our big unavailing of our thrift store find (the orange couch)! And it fit perfectly with the feel of the whole shoot. All the photos were taken at Amy’s family farm. Her and Josh live in Chicago and wanted to get a completely different feel than what they are used to. So we spend a few hours walking around this amazing farm and capturing the love they have for each other. Amy was such a trooper (you can’t tell, but it was cold the whole time), and Josh didn’t know he would be carrying a couch around, but they were all smiles. Thank you guys again for a great time and we can’t wait for you special day…coming soon!

Fountain Square: Emily and Ian super talented people. Emily has her own stitching business that makes some amazing products and Ian is a successful professional endurance race-car driver. They decided to get their e-session pictures down in fountain square and I was so glad we got the shoot in, with Ian’s busy racing schedule and Emily business they are two busy people!
Like any shoot, we really try to tailor it to the couple and as we were driving down to Fountain Square I saw this vintage Chevy(I think) car sitting in an old mechanics lot. It was perfect. So we walked around fountain square for a while and then once it got dark we headed over to the shop to take some pictures with the car. They were both up for anything and they are the type of couple that needs no direction when you are taking pictures. They are so in love and it completely shows. This was definitely one of my favorite shoots and it allowed me to bust out some off-camera lighting once it got dark. Emily and Ian we can’t wait for your wedding coming soon!

Indianapolis IN: It was really fun to hang out with Kristin for the evening a few weeks ago. She is going to school for fashion so we had a lot to talk about (fashion is something that both Amy and I really get into!). She is also a very talented piano player. One thing I love about the spring/summer is the sunsets. The light was just beautiful and Kristin was up for anything and had some really kickin outfits. Kristin we wish the best to you…

Dayton, OH: This was a very special wedding for us to shoot. Lindsay was my (Amy) roommate in college for 2 years and boy did we make some awesome memories! I was so excited to hear that she was engaged. One of the most important things on Lindsay’s “husband” list was that he had to love baseball. Well Gary just happens to be a baseball coach. It was a match made in heaven! The venue for the ceremony was held at an old theatre. It was filled with marble column’s and beautiful engravings on the walls and ceilings. The reception had all kinds of different types of transportation vehicles over the last 100 years scattered all throughout the building. Every detail of her wedding fit her perfectly. My favorite part of the reception was the candy bar. You can’t have too much candy!!! To end the night Lindsay had surprised Brian and I with a suite at the hotel we were staying at that night. Perfect ending to a perfect day…
